Cassandra, Katy and Jem are having interesting times in the sequel to Daffodils.
So interesting in fact that their new challenges are turning into another book that I think is going to be called:
PEACE LILY
as the aftermath of the First World War is making itself impact on these lovable characters in ways I couldn\’t have predicted.
I haven\’t deserted the concept of Speedwell but it may well have to become the third book in a trilogy about these people. Peace Lily has taken some of them to Boston, Massachusetts, USA. The research has been fascinating but the drama has made me cry and laugh as I willingly witness their lives.
