Made a drastic decision today.
Cut 15,000 words from the end of Peace Lily.
They are now destined to form the beginning of Speedwell.
Had to keep the dramatic tension up until the last page and maybe… even into the next book!
Should be able to wrap up the second draft tomorrow, ready to take to the Winchester Writer\’s Festival on Friday.
Thursday is earmarked for a bit of collapsing on the sofa inbetween these two events!
