Well blow me down. What a lovely way to brighten up my winter\’s day. The weather here is cold, grey and wet. No pristine snow for us on the coast just more mud but hooray for whoever posted a 5* review for each of my historical novels! Here they are in all their glory:

The beginning of a journey for Katy and the reader. A journey into the world of our grandparents and for some their great-grandparents, giving us a fascinating insight into their lives. All the emotions are there – love, loss, pain, grief, joy, but above all hope. Written by someone who empathises with the human condition whilst entertaining us with a great story. Don\’t hesitate to read it – you will be enthralled.

What a story! Vivid imagery takes you back to the era. The characters draw you into their lives in all the ways you imagine life to be in those times. An absorbing read, very well written and researched. A page turner, you will enjoy every minute of this follow up. Highly recommended.
Whoever this reviewer is, they have really made my day!
