3 quotes challenge #amwriting

I was asked to come up with three quotations that move me by the ever lovely, ever generous Judith Barrow (author of Pattern of Shadows and  Changing Patterns, with a third book due out this month called Living in the Shadows. All these gritty dramas are set in the north of England, near where Judith grew up, and are gripping stories set in and around the second World War.)

Here\’s my three quotes from literature:

1) \”The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself.\”
– William Blake

 2) \”Only connect.\”
– E.M. Forster, Howard\’s End

3) “I have spread my dreams under your feet;  Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.”
—W. B. Yeats, “Aedh Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven”
